Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how London Tech Hub ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit www.londontechhub.com, contact us or subscribe to updates. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible and to be clear about what we do with it. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What data we collect
Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message so that we can reply. Newsletter sign-up. When you subscribe, we collect your email address so that we can send occasional updates about new guides. Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which is needed to deliver the site securely and to protect it against abuse.
How and why we use it
We use contact details only to respond to your enquiry, and newsletter emails only to send the updates you asked for. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests (replying to messages you send us and keeping the website secure) and consent (newsletter emails). You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email or contacting us, and we will remove your address. We never sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted processors to run the website. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms. The website is hosted by Vercel. Fonts are self-hosted, so no font requests are sent to third parties. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Some may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy regulations apply.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website may use strictly necessary technical storage to make pages work correctly. If we introduce analytics or other optional cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep data
We keep contact messages for up to 24 months so that we can follow up on corrections and enquiries, then delete them. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs held by our hosting provider are kept for short periods in line with that provider's policies.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, send a request through our contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Please also read our terms and conditions.
